Hannah’s Hope For Life
It is our mission to:
- Help Hannah help others.
- Financially aid individuals and teams allowing athletes to participate in athletic programs, Examples include: equipment, uniforms, camps, tournaments, competitions, or individual athletes in need
- Target our smaller Magic Valley schools.
- To financially contribute to Idaho pediatric cancer families in need ie. gas, food, seasonal gifts or other family needs.

Board Members
Sandee Bates- President
Sandee is Hannah’s Mom and established the Hannah’s Hope for Life Foundation four years ago and has served on the Rock Chuck Derby Committee for the last 4 years. Sandee has also been an advocate for Pediatric Cancer Education. Sandee brings her experience to the Board through managing Hannah’s health care and the life experiences of having a child with pediatric cancer. She has raised four children through all elements of sports and continues to support local athletes. Sandee and her family live in Hagerman.
Carol Wood-Co Chairman
Carol helped implement and structure the Hannah’s Hope for Life Foundation and has been a very important voice since the beginning. She has served on the Rock Chuck Derby Committee for the last four years and is our RCD Committee Chair Person. She has served on many committees for her community and school district and has coached girls sports. Carol and her husband have raised eight children and they live in Bliss.
Sherri Campa- Secretary
Sherri has been a supporter of the Rock chuck Derby and Hannah’s Hope for Life since moving back to Idaho from California 4 years ago. Sherri brings new ideas and great secretarial skills to the Foundation. Her and her husband have three grown children. They reside in Gooding.
Laurie Silver- Treasurer
Laurie has served on the Rock Chuck Derby Committee the last four years as Auction Coordinator. Laurie coached Minor League baseball and T ball for 10 years and was on the board of The Hagerman Chapter for Ducks Unlimited for 14 years. Laurie has 28 years of bookkeeping experience. Laurie and her husband have raised three sons and live in Hagerman.
Bob Lyda- Bob has served on the RCD Committee for the last four years as Donation & Raffle Coordinator. He is a board member of the Southern Region Employee Organization. Bob is also a member of the Hagerman Chamber and serves as Vice-President of the Bliss Chamber. Bob is a member of the Southern Idaho Community Service Fund . Bob and his wife Sue have raised three children and have lived in Hagerman for 27 years.
Steve Money- Steve has served on the RCD committee as Weigh Master for the past four years. He has been on various committees including: Vice Chairman Trout Unlimited Saratoga, Wyoming and Chairman of Ducks Unlimited. Steve organized one of the largest free fishing derby for kids in America while living in Gardnerville, Nevada. Also, while living in Nevada Steve coached little league. Steve and his son live in Hagerman.
Bret Silver -Bret has been on the RCD commitee for the last four years, he has served as President of the Hagermania Softball Association and the Hagerman Youth Athletics. Bret has served as Boy Scout Master, President of the Hagerman Planning and Zoning, Vice President of Hagerman Chamber of Commerce, Administrative Board of the Hagerman Methodist Church and the Hagerman Masonic Lodge . Bret and his wife Laurie live in Hagerman.
MeKenzie McDaniel- MeKenzie is our newest Board Member. She is Hannah’s sister and has been actively involved with Hannah’s Hope since the beginning. MeKenzie brings young enthusiastic ideas to our Board. She is passionate about the future of this organization. She has served as the BBQ Coordinater for four years and on the Ride for Life Committee. MeKenzie and her husband Randy live in Hagerman with their three children.
We are very fortunate as a Board of Directors to not only have the experience of leadership but to have such a great group of community service minded people. We are very proud of our Board of Directors and know they have the experience, leadership and passion to make decisions and lead the Hannah’s Hope for Life Foundation in the direction it needs to go.
