It is the 5TH ANNIVERSARY of the Hannah Bates Memorial Rock Chuck Derby!!! The Derby was originally established by Frank Adams, owner of Outlaws and Angels Saloon in Bliss, Idaho. The Rock Chuck Derby is our biggest fundraiser of the year. In the last four years we have raised over $220,000.00 to donate to schools and families in need.
This year the Rock Chuck Derby will be held on 2 weekends. You can find more info at the Derby website. Sportsmen of all ages compete to bring in the World’s Biggest Rock Chuck and to win the grand prize gun safe. There can be up to 21 guns to give away for prizes. The competition is between you and all other hunters vying for the title and the prizes. There is also a youth hunt with 4 category prizes. The list of events include a Golf Tournament at Clear Springs, an ATV race, a Ride for Life and a Walk for Life.
